So since this latest version update with Dawn of War 3, I can no longer build the mod I'm working on - it just gives an error every time. Any fix? Is it something I did on my end?
I've also experienced an issue on the World Builder. I don't know if it's specific to the new patch, since its been a few weeks since I worked on my map, but whenever I try to open maps I get an error message, and the logs reference 'filepath failures'. Whenever I try to create a new map the World Builder crashes. @Gorb I know you don't know much about this stuff but any ideas?
Things I've tried so far: Verifying both the mod tools and DoW 3, reinstalling the mod tools, changing the name of the mod, and also creating an entirely new mod with an entirely new set of files. None of it worked. I also checked the world builder (to see if I was also having the issue Socite is) and I can't even create a new map without the world builder "failing to initialize engine features".
As of right now it doesn't seem possible to build/rebuild mods with the official tools. I'm not aware of any community tools capable of making .sga files for DoW3 either.
I've also had some people report incredibly strange bugs with my mods, although some of those were from before the patch. Like weeks of me not changing anything and suddenly War trukks disappear when using suicide bommaz. I'm not sure if there was some more hidden changes on the backend or if I somehow broke this myself but I can't even fix it with the mod tools in their current state.
Both the worldbuilder and mod tool issues seem to be related to altered file paths.
If Relic could look into this the community would be really grateful.
Hi guys and thanks for flagging. Gorb looped me in via PM so I'm trying to figure out where to take this. For now, we're aware and looking into it. I'll see what we can do.
Hey everyone! We just sent out a hotfix for Dawn of War III to fix the issue causing our mod tools to not function properly. Please restart Steam and DOW3 to apply update. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hey, a bit late but thanks for fixing the tools! I just opened up the world builder to get back to making my map, but when I went to copy an object the builder crashed. I didn't get an error messages or anything, it just froze then after a few seconds closed. I'm not sure if it's ctrl+c+drag or just c+drag to copy an object, but both cause it to crash. Is this something that could be looked at? I makes things a lot more difficult, especially since I'm trying to make an urban map
I'm going to do a bit more playing around with the world builder to see if I can find any more issues.
EDIT_1: I just opened up a new map, as opposed to the map I was working on before the mod/map tools broke, and I can copy objects fine. I then tried another old map from beforehand and copying works fine, so it just seems to be my current map that's broken...
EDIT_2: I've managed to fix the issue by resaving the map to a different name. Sorry to tag you when you weren't needed!

IIRC from alpha testing the tools for coh2, there is no workaround for this issue unfortunately. So people will have to wait for relic to fix it.
