I know hardly anybody checks in on here, and it's unlikely that I'll find somebody who'll be able to help me but I've been working gradually on a map for about 11 months now (mostly in the last few months) and today when I went to work on it, the world builder crashed when trying to open the map. There isn't any error messages, it just closes without a word. I've looked at the debugging menu as the map loads and the part it crashes at is "Generating PathSectorMap" so I assume this is the issue, but I have no idea what that means. Basically, I'd like to know if anybody has a way I can try to resolve this or if I'm going to have to go back to my last backup which was about 10 hours of work over 5 days (I'd rather not since I'm quite content with how the map looks in the broken version and don't think I'll be able to remake it quite the same way).
My suspicion as to why it's having trouble is that possibly I've added too many objects - it's a city map and I've been spending time adding a lot of rubble, which while time consuming is really improving the map's visual quality. Its not added much in terms of file size, but I wonder if having so many objects is causing issues.
Thanks in advance!
